Our Machining Capabilities
WEC Machining offers one of the UK’s largest heavy machining capacities, supported by an extensive range of CNC milling, CNC turning, multi-axis mill/turn centres, and sliding head turning machines. Our 6 large CNC machining centres deliver 30,000 available spindle hours per year, providing significant capacity for both high-volume and complex machining requirements.
Our facility can handle components with a maximum envelope size of up to 12.5m x 5m x 3m on our Correa Fox M gantry and Correa Axia milling machines with large rotary tables. We also have CNC turning capacity up to 3845mm in length and 950mm in diameter. This allows us to support both large-scale heavy machining projects and precision production work across a wide range of component sizes.

At WEC Machining, we strive to provide defect free components to our customers, and we pride ourselves on our consistently high quality “right first time” performance. Quality is at the very heart of our operations and we have recently made substantial investments in the very latest metrology and CMM inspection equipment. WEC Group are accredited to ISO9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, EN1090-2, EN3834, and EN15085 among many others. Full Turnkey Services
WEC Machining is the precision engineering arm of WEC Group and handles all small to large CNC Machining requirements. We can produce sheet metal components and fabricated assemblies using a range of forming and welding techniques, and the company is now an established manufacturer of ambulance tail lifts.
