We are pleased to share that work is progressing well on our new 60,000 sq. ft. heavy machining and nuclear fabrication facility in Blackburn. The expansion will establish one of Europe’s largest subcontract machining facilities, supporting industries including nuclear, defence, offshore and general engineering. The site will house six large-scale CNC machining centres with the capacity to machine components up to 20 metres long and 5 metres in diameter, further expanding our manufacturing capabilities. As part of the £10m investment, we are also creating 60 new roles, including 10 additional machining apprenticeships, helping to develop skilled engineering talent within the local area.

We have a CNC milling capability of up to 20 metres in length alongside the use of Horizontal Pallet Loaders, meaning we are able to offer our customers the most cost-effective batch machining. Thanks to continuous investments in state-of-the-art technology, we can produce complex CNC milled parts to a high level of accuracy with fast turnaround.
Our 5 Axis CNC Mill Turn Centre has the capability to machine complex parts in one hit, keeping programming and downtime to a minimum.
